It's not hard
to stand above the crowd
(at least not when you're 6'8"...)
While you already know who I am, what you may not know is that I’m born and bred in Croydon.
I originally took a degree in Computer Studies from 1999 till 2002, studying many aspects of I.T., but the area I really connected with was web design. Wanting to learn more, I started teaching myself HTML in Notepad and how to design with Fireworks 2 and Photoshop 5.5. How far we’ve come!
After a year of two of self-learning while stacking shelves at a local supermarket,
I managed to bag myself a job making the Internet for a living... and the rest,
as they say, is history!
Whoever “they” are...
Nearly 10 years later, I’m just as passionate about the web, design and
learning everything it has to offer - if not more so. Now, with the dawn of
social media and mobiles apps, there’s more for me to discover than
ever before. In an industry that is forever evolving and changing,
I hope to keep on learning and being challenged for many
years to come.
Outside of the walls of the Internet, my passions are gaming
(must... unlock... achievements), music (I’ve been an off-and-on
Rock DJ for nearly a decade), reading (the ‘net is no substitute
for a real book), cooking (I’m like Jamie Oliver, without the
lisp... and the hair... and the money) and tattoos (not content
with drawing things on the Internet, I have to get things drawn
on myself as well... sorry, Mum.)
